The Cowboys have finished 2nd, 4th, and 3rd in the last three years and will look to move up to the top of the league this season. Stockton who was 1-2 at the district tournament looks to win a second title and should do so. Gasca, who overcame a rough start to the season pulled it together taking 2nd in the city and qualifying for districts. He will be the early favorite at 120. Gray, who was a victom of the Gusan Disqualification last season, will be in the hunt at heavyweight after qualifying for districts. Quinonez lost a close 3-2 match to DQ Leeman and then missed out on districts in a very close match. He should be in the mix at 170. Abdi and Davis also return and will look to move up the podium.
